Currently the Zoo owns 3 land plots, but only 2 are used. The unused plot is supposed to be built up by 2010 or 2015.
The interesting thing is that it's built right in the middle of the Bow River. So every now and then, flooding is a big problem (Such as in the 2005 Flood)
Chinook Centre is a huge mall in Calgary, Alberta.
It was once a drive-in-theatre in the 50s, but now it's a gigantic shopping destination with several dozen stores, a movie theatre with an IMAX screen. It also has a Time Capsule filled with dozens of modern things from the year 2000, and is set to open in the year 2999.
The Calgary Science Center. Located in Calgary, Alberta. It is a very good place equipped with a 3D Ball Theater, several exhibits, and a good observatory (As good as it gets in the middle of a city, at least.)
This is the Calgary Aerospace Museum in Calgary, Alberta.
It is currently the biggest Aerospace Museum from The U.S Border to the North Pole and Vancouver to Ontario. It has a nosecone of the legendary Avro Arrow.
