The Long Walk, Windsor

This is the long walk in windsor, its roughly 4.2 km long,
i walked this as part of my duke of edinbouruh course.

Its under Great things i found, because it was great!

If you look to the left of the Long Walk you can see what remains of the original, and longer, walk that starts from the Round Tower.

thats interesting, live near windsor, and i never knew there was an origional long walk, the present one is said to have been haunted, and the castle is said to have the ghost of henry VIII, his wife anne and many others in the libraries and carparks,

im not really a fanatic in ghosts, but when i went to the castle at 8ish in winter i actaully saw the one on the long walk, it was on a horse and was 100-120 meters away from us, it kind of glowed aswell, andwas dressed in 14th - 18th cent cloths. Weird.
