While planning walks in the Cotswolds for our holiday I came accross this. If you look at it with Google Maps there is a railway linking the two areas together and to the main line. I assume it's some sort of storage area but.....
Anyone any ideas?

Hi Magrat.
Welcome to GEH. We hope you'll have fun here. :)
What you see is the weapons storage area of the Pontrilas SAS Counter-Terrorism (CT) trainer unit.
Here is told more:

"Today, one of the UK's main military ammunition depots is located partially within Kineton parish, known as the Central Ammunition Depot (CAD), Kineton. Extending to several hundred acres and linked to the main Network Rail system by a branch line."

Thanks,
I'd been Googling for things around Temple Herdewyke, as that was the closest place, and found nothing!
