I have no idea if this is the right place to post this thread (my first on this board), but here I go......

I'm trying to "Add a File" to Google Earth Hacks, but I get the following;

ramblinpaul, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

How do I go about posting a Google Earth Hack????

I'm sorry for the problems. Is this still happening? Your account seems to be in fine shape.

Also, exactly which page is this? Is it after you click "add a file", or after you type in your file details and try to upload it?

Under "How can I send my file?", I choose the "Add a File" link and that's where I get the message in my original post.

Does that help? Can you help me work around this issue?

That information was very helpful. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how you could be getting that message.

It turns out that the link in the FAQ was outdated and I hadn't realized it. The FAQ has now been updated and you can just go here (http://www.gearthhacks.com/addfile.php) to upload a file.
