Petrol Dump

This is a large petrol dump outside Edinburgh airport. Its used as an emergency supply if civil unrest broke out.

Actually it's an oil storage area named Dalmeny. Below is a Article from BPs website:

Some 90 people are employed at the neighbouring Kinneil processing plant where oil and natural gas from the North Sea are separated. From here, crude oil is exported via Dalmeny tank farm and Hound Point loading terminal on the River Forth; the gas is used at the refining and petrochemicals complex for fuel and for feedstock. Kinneil will remain part of BP’s Exploration and Production business.

On 11 June 1987 a team of four contractors was cleaning a crude oil storage tank at the Dalmeny Oil Storage Terminal. The tank was of the floating roof type and the roof had been lowered due to the tank being empty. It was resting on a series of 219 support pillars. Three of the contractors worked inside the tank with one on duty outside along with a BP employee.

Nowhere does it say it is used as a Petrol Dump(it stores Crude oil), and nowhere does it say it's an emergency supply in case of Civil Unrest(The complex is owned by BP, British Petroleum).

Your right about BP but it is an emergency supply if needed.

Out of Curiosity, Where did you see that it's for Civil Unrest, I searched the net, and couldn't find anything.
