AN unexpected historical discovery has been made at Scottish Water's site at Glencorse, near Penicuik — a Roman marching camp nearly 2000 years old.
The revelation has provided another clue as to how the Romans organised their occupation of the Lothians.

I am just curious: How did you locate the place of this find?

I read the headline in Archaeology news and then did a search for the water project and then contacted them for the location of the site.

If you have watched my posts you will have noticed a lot of archaeology posts. It is a hobby of mine and I keep up with the new finds.

Also all things NASA (JPL) I am on thier mailing list for new and interesting happenings.

Earthquakes, volcanos, Hurricanes, and tornados.:yep:
