This is an old french trainer Fouga Magister....

Correct. The Fouga Magister has a split tail (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fouga_Magister)
The McDonnell F-101 Voodoo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-101_Voodoo) does not.

You are of course correct about the type of aircraft - I do not know what made me think it was a McDonnell F-101 Voodoo (must have been too much beer):givebeer:
