Isn't that just a reflection of the sun on the river?

No, the reflection is too perfect. There's a vague explanation on the GEC link over the file, something about camera or recording equipment errors?

Definately not the sun. If you go 1.7 miles NE you see it too in the lawn. A sun reflection would never happen in grass this way.
