View Full Version : New scanned Areas from Google Earth (Area 51 now with Hi-Resolution)

I found a few Places, who are in Hi-Res now. The mysterious Area 51 is in Hi-Resolution now (no Overlay needed anymore). And the Capitol is HiRes too.
Some of the Ships i "bookmarked" are gone. Looks like a big GE-Update!

That's the USS Intrepid. The ship is part of the Intrepid Air and Sea Museum.

they also changed some images. When I had a look at Union Square in San Francisco two weeks ago it was full of people. It looked like some kind of concert or festival. Now the place is empty but in a higher resolution. It also seems as if the angle of the shot has changed.

For me, the shadow of the "alien?"-ship in AREA51 is in a wrong angle, if I compare it with the shadow of the planes standing around.

When I saved the kmz file I had some other favorites checked at the same time. I'm guessing that's why it wouldn't zoom in any further.
