OK I have a couple of questions about this, call me a doubting Thomas I guess.
1. Why? A C-130 landed and took off from the Forrestall unassisted. It was for a feasibility study on using the Herk as a COD aircraft. (Google "C-130 Carrier" for Utube video
2. How did it get there, no strip any where in the area to taxi from. Unless they are never coming back. (See #3)
3. And probably the most important, the right wing tip won't clear the hanger near the end of the "Catapult"
