Previous updated KMZ file seems to be bad. Here is a new one tested and OK

Oups...! New file was right but with wrong name.

Here's the correct one .

By the way you may add a notice telling that there are now more than 5400 castles.

I asked you to give us the file you want us to replace it in.

I pressume it's this one:
http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile21828/French-Castles-and-Manors.htm

Please next time add file and KMZ. That will help us a lot.

I'm sorry, but it's me who don't understand what you're talking about.

It's not the first time i'm placing new files or corrections related to older ones and i've always been using the same methods. IE the "Add File" link for a new file and the "File Corrections" link when placing an update.

Is there now a new method to use for updating existing files ? Is the "file correction" not to be used any more ?

My purpose isn't to get you overloaded with fastidious work but I don't really understand where is the problem when a replacement file had the same name as the older one ? of course, i've just forgot to give you the category where it was placed, but for me, this file is identified with that name since the very beginning on my lists.

I may be stubborn but for me a NEW file is a NEW file and an UPDATE is a CORRECTION...may be i'm wrong!

It's just a help if you add file as well as kmz. Else we have to look for it.

Please add both the next time you have one.

But I guess I found the right one. So consider it done.

What sladys means is that your posting should have looked like this:

Previous updated KMZ file seems to be bad. Here is a new one tested and OK. Please correct this

http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile21828/French-Castles-and-Manors.htm

with this

<attachment>

It is pretty hard for us mods to find the files meant by users by searching some hundred files....

OK... guys!

That's sounds good now and my brain is updated:yep:.

Anytime an update (or correction) with KMZ is to be placed i shall give you the file AND its http direct link instead of the GE location.

That will be done !;)
