Not sure if this works in older versions, but I'm using the new beta (4.3 I think).

So...zoom out all the way. Then (you know how double clicking equals zooming in?) keep double-clicking till you are zoomed all the way in (make sure you keep clicking in the same spot, don't bother moving the mouse, just click)(till you can't zoom any more) and click a bit more for good measure. Then, scroll down (so it zooms in). If you do it correctly, your eye elevation display will go insane...jumping all around...going into like -123894332 feet and so on...Then your screen will fire you off and your zoom settings will be weird.

Works best in areas where you can zoom down to under 300 feet (England works really well). I'll attach a placemark where it has worked every time for me.

Yep, same thing for me. Good find!

Here's a short video clip I made that shows this bug in action:

Theres another bug.

Let me explain.

1. Scroll down to the ground.
2. Using shift + scroll, (scroll up or away from you) flatten your view.
3. Then keep scrolling down/away from you.
If done correctly, the zoom direction switches. Usually scrolling down causes it to zoom in, however when you do this scrolling down zooms you out.

It's easiest to see over small hills, but still pretty hard to see in general. It's pretty subtle. I managed to get a very obvious one, but didn't save the position.

Correction, it's not a bug, but rather a trick of the eye. When you scroll down it seems to be zooming out (you look like you're going up) (particularly on small hills_\), but looking at the elevation bar you actually aren't.

Is it me, or is the % loading part missing?

That's a new "feature" of 4.3. The % is gone, replaced with the simple circle in the lower right corner. When it is full, then you're at 100%.

I haven't checked yet, but did the new release (4.3.7204.0836 (beta)) fix the scrolling bug?
