Imagery update?

It looks like an imagery update is happening right now, but there's not been an announcement from Google.

What I have seen so far, in Google Maps it's allmost 50% or so of Austria.

A few big cities that I checked (like Vienna) didn't appear to be updated. Still, it could be quite a lot of it.

I'll dig in later tonight and see what I can find, unless they put out a list before then.

According this german site the following austrian States has been updated

1. Burgenland, 4. Oberösterreich (Upper Austria), 7. Tirol (Tyrol), 8. Vorarlberg, 6. Steiermark (Styria) and 7. Salzburg.

Serbia has a lot of new hi res photos. But they are not that hi res as some other countries in Europe. I wounder why is that? Anything less then 15meters is very blurry :(

On looking around more closely, they've added some images to Brunei too. Their civilian docks and naval base at Pekan Muara are visible now. I think more of the country to west of that is also visible than was before.

I'd not be surprised if they managed to slip in more African tiles, but those are all so scattered I can't keep track of them all.

I think that the western part of Okinawa, Japan, might have been updated.

I remember that KADENA AB was fully visible, plus the patch is from August 2007.
