This is a discussion thread for the following file:<br><br><b><a href=http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile24517/Pilgrims-in-Lourdes.htm>Pilgrims in Lourdes</a></b><br><br>Every year hundreds of thousands of people go to Lourdes in southwest France to claim a hope of healing at the cave below the basilica from different illnesses or just feel the spirit of the holy Bernadette.<br />
Bernadette was a franch girl who in 1856 should have seen a woman in white near the Grotte Massabielle. inside the cave is a spring that should have appeared after the sighting. This water the pilgrims believe it has a healing effect one day.<br />
Bernadette died of tuberculosis in 1879 and became a Saint by Pope Pius XI in 1934.<br /><br /><img src=http://www.gearthhacks.com/showimage.php?image=new/080505/6439531.jpg>
