This is a discussion thread for the following file:<br><br><b><a href=http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile30195/Plane-Missing-Wing.htm>Plane Missing Wing</a></b><br><br>This doesn't look like a stitching error or image error, the plane looks like it legitimately is missing a wing..<br /><br /><img src=http://www.gearthhacks.com/showimage.php?image=112807/319926TurboTracker.jpg>

These are two S-2 Turbo Trackers. Their wings fold, but they fold back over the top of the fuselage, so that wing really does seem to be missing. The right engine also seems to be gone too. At first I'd just assumed it was a shadow, but there's nothing to cast a shadow there. (also, there would be a similar shadow on the aircraft behind that's whole)

Neat find :)

These are 2 Tracker from the CDF (California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection). The one with the wing and right engine missing is in maintenance at the CDF Aviation Management Unit at McClellan or these two are older S-2A Tracker which will be out of service, when the new S-2T arrived.
