I searched the forums and could find nothing so I'll just ask.

I would like to create a short video clip from Google Earth representing zooming in from outer space to a specific coordinate.

I am told that the Pro version of Google Earth will do this but not the free version. I can't spend the $$ on the Pro version (and have no other need for it).

I am making a slide show for my son's baseball team and I thought it would be really cool to begin the show by showing the zoom from space to the baseball field where they play while playing the theme from 2001 A Space Odessy.

I got to believe someone out here knows a way I can do this. Thanks in advance.

Google Earth Pro (http://earth.google.com/product_comparison.html) has a seven day free trial.

Camstasia Studio (http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp) is a fantastic screen recording software and it has a free 30 day trial.

Do you know if the free trials are fully functional and watermark free?

That is, if I can do the video I need, will it have a giant watermark or logo embedded in it since it is a trial version?

Thanks,

JPF

99.9% certain Camstasia does not have a watermark in its trial version. Granted, I purchased Camstasia about six years and four versions ago.

I'm a big fan of FRAPS (http://www.fraps.com/). In my experience, it captures at a much better framerate than Camstasia, but I've not used the latest version of Camstasia so I can't say for sure.

FRAPS will leave a watermark on the video, but the full version is only $37, which is an excellent deal.
