This road dispatches to Shirvan, well know for its rugs (genuine oriental carpets) and Quchan well known earthquakes area (about 100.000 people each)<br />
<br />
Bajgiran border terminal was inaugurated 2006, july 25th and links Ashkhabad (32 kms) in the Turkmenistan to Mashhad, the provincial capital of Khorassan Razavi (221 kms).<br />
<br />
Inauguration was a national wide event for both Turkmenistan and Iran, as each head of this countries went there..<br />
<br />
