For my Google Earth Biggest Ship's file, each placemark has a small, 150x123 picture. I got a new computer however, and forgot to transfer the files of those pictures onto my new one. Now, my question is, if I add new pictures and save them to this computer, but don't have the old ones, will all the pictures (new and old) show up for everyone?

I downloaded your file and it works fine over here. :yep:
So I believe it should work.

The pictures are saved in the kmz-file of your upload. Simply download it and openit with winzip (or another zipper) instead of GE and you'll see all your thumbs. So therefore the answer to your question is :yep: (when I got your problem right).

Thanks guys, however I'm having issues unzipping it with Vista. Vista no longer has winzip, so I can't choose that program to open the file with, and the built-in vista feature doesn't work either..

Have you tried 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/)? I haven't used it on Vista yet, but I've used it for years on XP, and it's far better than WinZIP. Best of all - it's free.

Thanks tpstigers, it worked wonderfully. New question now.
Looking at the placemark description of one of the old files I see
<center>SpiderX22<br><img src="replacements-927412__[28406].kmz/files/950.2.jpg">
Where does this mean the image is saved? I used to have them all in a specific folder named Ships, and then subdivided into folders based on ship size. If I go and create this arrangement again, do I have to reword every placemark to say
<center>SpiderX22<br><img src="C:\Users\Nicolas\Desktop\GEH\ships\958.5.jpg">
And so on. Or, can I leave the old files how they are, and just do this with the new ones? Will all the old ones still show up properly?

You can keep it as it is and continue your interesting file. As the Captain says the images are kept in the kmz file.

This means upload your image from your directory of the computer to your file.

As the Captain says the images are kept in the kmz file.
Ohhh, okay. I get it now: the images are saved in the file itself. Thank you very much!!

Alrighty! I had some issues with the coding at first (I forgot to put ".jpg" after each file) but got everything working out, and the update has been released just now. Thank you EVERYONE for the help!!!
