In dedication to this new subforum (more like the renaming of it, but still), let's start a challenge. There's websites out there dedicated to challenges like this, but I decided to start my own. This is going to be a relatively basic one; no scoreboard, no prizes - just fun (hopefully). The rules are simple, find the location (proof of find: placemark it and upload it here) of the current challenge picture and then, if you got it right (challenge poster's agreement) you upload your own challenge picture.
Note: Challenge picture can be any size, but it has to be viewable. Make sure the coords are turned off or cropped out. Try to keep the google logo in (copyright issues). Feel free to crop out the compass if you want. Also, make sure to add a hint (or not, if it's doable as is). And remember, keep it in the realm of the POSSIBLE. People do NOT want to be looking for something completely obscure that's basically impossible to find.
Challenge Picture 1:
I think it's pretty easy, but then again I know where it is.

Found the stadium. May Day stadium in Pyongyang N Korea. Tricky because I assumed it was on coast of ocean.
Here's a new one. Might be an easy one so I won't give any hints just yet.

A few hints....
The rock is almost 600 feet high and located near the end of the Valley of the Bears.
A local Native American Tribe are the only people that can legally climb the rock.
It's name translates into a word for a small rock.
The adjacent beach was used for training American soldiers during WW II on how to operate and load Higgens Boats.
Jack LaLanne lives nearby.

I'll give it a try this weekend if it's not solved by then, I have midterms this week (ironically, NOT in the middle of the term).

Ugh...midterms.....I'm so glad I'm out of college. But I had a lot of fun while I was there :)
By the way....one more hint. I went to college a few miles from the mystery rock.

I actually almost got it without any hints. The first thing I did when I saw the screenshot was search google for "Cliff Diving Locations". But nothing obvious turned up. If I would have just searched for "Cliff Diving", this location in Acapulco would have been at the top of the list.
