Hi!

I have a few questions about GE

Let's say i've made a custom balloon design for a manufacturing facility with the company logo on top etc. Can other users somehow put in text from word or, e.g sales statistics from excel in to this balloon with no html knowledge?

My vision is that you should be able to click on the manufacturing facility, see info and sale statistics, and then have a subcategory with customers, and statistics on how much they've bought. I want other people to be able to update this information with new info/statistics.

Does this require the pro version? If not, what programs should I use?

Any help on this would be splendid.

Its possible, but not easy. You may be better off keeping the statistical data outside of Google Earth. Just put a link to open the data in the balloon, then the users can update the data using other programs.

Alternatively, you could have the users update the data in some other database program that could then somehow convert the data to KML for viewing only in Google Earth. KML is relatively simple and any program that can output text and data fields can probably create KML.
