Hi, after looking at numerous video's (notably this one)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4LfKcn3WxE&eurl=http://www.gearthblog.com/blog/archives/2008/07/new_google_earth_43_beta_available.html
I've noticed that my GE doesn't clear up the image as quickly as shown on his one. And my 3d buildings even less so.
He says its an area he hasn't been to as well.
I've got a powerful enough computer and i've tried tinkering with the GE settings, but not much change.

Any little tricks to improve this?
How quick are your picture times?

It can depend on a couple of other things too. If your network link to Google isn't good, things will be slower too.

Also, if you have networking layers like the Google Earth Community or Street View active, those will be fighting with the image data to get downloaded. I keep all of my network links and overlay placemarks turned off until I want to see them. Having the Terrain layer turned on is another big hit on performance.

I don't know how much that will help, though.

It also depends on your internet connection... a slow connection means more time to load...
