Hi I've got a little issue, which, although small, I should address before it gets too much.
You know when you save a placemark (Save place as *> Documents), how do I make the file, when I re-open it, the same placemark as it was in GE?
Cause whenever I open them back up with GE, they are coming in 'expandable' folder style, with the earth symbol.
I dont want expandable files, just the basic placemark!
I'm having to go round and click on all the 'minus' symbols after doing a tour!

Any help appreciated!

Take the placemark out of the folder that is created?

You would have to manually edit each KML file. Just delete the lines at the beginning and end that have the word Document in them. But you'd still have to uncheck box to disable them.

The other option would be to create network links. But that's probably more trouble than it's worth.
