I came across this strangely red road in Mexico City.
Canīt tell if it is a big party for owners of red trucks or somebody lost a lot of red paint. But the colour is only on the road and thinning out at both ends.
It does not look like a map fault to me.
Any ideas?

I think that is a street market and you see the roofs of the marketstands.

Good idea, but all the marketstands are very close together. And 90% red ones?

Very late to join in the discussion, but yes, the street markets are traditional in Mexico city and the Pink (not red) is uniform in all the roofs as there is a leader who makes very good $$$$ on having just one distributor. The color also helps to highlight their presence, not that itīs needed, but they like it that way. The stands -and so the roofs- are so close together that you canīt walk between them, they fight for every centimeter they may reclaim.
And the name of this street markets is "Tianguis" they move to a different spot every day, but return the follow week, so you know which streets to avoid on which day.
