can i upload my 3d buildings?

i would like to upload my buildings to google earth to be viewed in the 3dbuildings layer throughout the world

is that possible?
if not, how have those that are already uploaded been uploaded?
just asking cause som buildings look like they´ve been uploaded by some normal guy
