What is the warmest temperature you have ever experienced on planet earth, be it in your own country or in another country?

Mine was 46c in Las Vegas USA in 2004

In England, where I am from the highest I experienced was 36c in 2006

Thanks

I've had 46C or 47C (around 115F) here in Sydney, Australia.. and I'm sure something in the high 40s the first day we were trekking through & around Angkor Wat, in Cambodia.

Incidentally, the coldest I've experienced is -22C in Antarctica during summer.

I'm from Massachusetts, the warmest weather I remember was ~101F (38C).

I don't remember the exact temperature, but it was approx -30F (-34.4C) on Mt. Washington a few years back. I remember wearing a thick coat with multiple layers underneath with toe and handwarmers stuffed into anywhere cold (was darn windy too).

I lived in Saudi Arabia for 2 years. It would get up over 125 F in the summer. You really felt like you were in an oven.

Forkboy that is crazy, it works out at around 51c ! That must be crazy !

Las Vegas heat was something else though, we had driven through the desert for the past week, so spent plenty of time outdoors in places like Calico. The heat there was immense, but Vegas had hot wind too !

Haven't seen the temperature go above 32c since 2006 in England !

I hope it will this year !!

Keep them coming guys !

Thanks

Down in the south of Spain, in the Summer, it got up to 44 Celsius(111 F) in the Shade!

And the coldest, I think that would be -45 Celsius(-49 F) in Murmansk,Russia.

46 C in August 2005 (or 2006), in Rio de Janeiro, where I live. Temperatures around and over 35 C are commonplace here, even during winter (global warming made them even more common). The coldest? Around 8 C, here again, in July (?), 200-I-don't-remember-when. It was a cold front.

How nice! But...then...have you ever seen snow? Like...touched it?

No, I have NEVER seen snow... *sad* I does snow here in Brazil, in the mountais of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina (the two southernmost states).

This picture was taken in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul State:

Again, global warming made these masterpiece moments even more rare, but it still happens!!!
