for the life of me I can't find any info on this, it looks like under water ruins but it's huge and in the middle of nevada. 39°45'2.62"N, 118°42'41.06"W

Well it's clearly man made, And I can't seem to find anything in the Google Community Layers. But having a quick look at it, it seems the area it's in could be a floodplain. So I'd assume whatever it was built for, has something to do with the flooding of the area. Other than that, not a clue.

This area is called the CARSON SINK. Maybe you find information about this special place in the net.

These formation are so called "spoil banks". This area is part of the Stillwater Wildlife Refuge.
