man looking at satellite ( high resulation !)

hi , this is so weird , this man looking straight to satellite , does he know prior they taking picture in that time ? because it is very high resulation picture that just covered a small region .

It's taken from a plane. One of 500 (maybe more today) by National Geographic . It's called "Africa Megaflyover".
