Definately not a 747 - prob the new C17, or maybe a C5

It's to short for a C-17 and the cockpit look like a C-5.

The plane is an Airbus A310. It is one of two A310 owned by the german government. Both A310 are used by members of the government, for instance chancellor Gerhard Schroeder or foreign minister Joschka Fischer. One plane has the name "Konrad Adenauer" the other one "Theodor Heuss". Both planes were bought by the former government of the socialist GDR and became part of the aircraft-fleet of the new pan-german government after the peacefull revolution in 1989. There is an appartement in the front part of the plane including a lounge and conference rooms. But it is much less luxurious than Airforce One of the US-President.

That can not be a A-310. Because it have 4 engine and is an upper wing plane.
The A-310 is a twin engine and lower wing plane.

50m to the east. The heli is a white one, so heavy to identify.

The heli should be a Eurocopter Super Puma. It has 4 rotor-blades and the tail wing (aileron) is to the left.

yeah, but I 'm wondering why the Attached Thumbnail in the first post has a better res than my google earth

I had to use the thumbnail (!) for an overlay

Is that because of the new data or am I a dork ._

just compare this file below with the first one I posted before

If you look at this picture you see that this can only be a C-5 Galaxy.

OK gang, I see the chopper but where is the plane? See attached file. Also the aircraft in the thumbnail included in the post IS a C-5A Galaxy.

The reason the plane isn't there anymore is because the imagery was updated.
