It was overrun by the Imperial Japanese Army during the Battle of the Philippines (1942). The airfield was located near the village of Lucanin, south Lamao in Bataan Provience.<br />

Disagree with the location shown. 1. Its too far from Lucanin, 2. Orientation was east west (roughly) 3. The 'facility' is too short, Bataan was 5,100 foot probably all dirt. 4 No descriptions of the fields on the peninsula indicate the Bataan strip was west of Capcaben.
