This is a discussion thread for the following file:<br><br><b><a href=http://www.googleearthhacks.com/dlfile6088/Large-Overlay-of-New-Orleans.htm>Large Overlay of New Orleans</a></b><br><br>Here is a satellite overlay of New Orleans that was taken on August 30, 2005. There are a number of clouds in the picture, but you can see the dark green flooded areas to get an idea of the damage.<br><br><img src=http://www.googleearthhacks.com/images/new/080505/267814large_no_overlay.jpg>

What is the problem you're having?

A .kmz file is used in Google Earth. If you already have Google Earth installed, it should open in there automatically.

Is anyone else having problems with this file?

digitalglobe has released some satellite imagery of the before and after. I don't know how to integrate it in Google Earth, but know you guys do.

If you haven't already looked, go to:
