seti is a program that "hears" the space for aliens broadcasts... They have huge antennas too get this broadcasts... i found the "ATA", Allen Telescope Array, a place with many of this things, but it's not high resolution.... sorry, i lost the coordinates, but i'm sure i'll find it again. (www.seti.org)

but they have other places with these... and there are movies that show it xD
sorry i cant remember the name.. and sorry if i'm confusin you...

Look up "VLA," "Arecibo," or just "radio telescope" on GoogleEarthHacks.com

Many of these spend time on the SETI projects, I believe.
