It seems to be a frozen lake with snow coverage near Anchorage. I think there are snow mobiles which have left this traces in the snow.

This is "Big Lake" which is a popular summer and winter recreational area. It is approx 45 miles north of Anchorage. The big lines are plowed ice roads and the smaller ones are snowmachine tracks and trails. This area is part of a multi-lake system.

I grew up in Marinette, WI (zip 54143) and Sturgeon Bay is 17 nat miles east. The locals would maintain a "road" across Green Bay in the winter, marking holes with Christmas trees and such. It saved about 70 miles vs driving to GB and north. Maybe this is a similar "road."
