Good Morning! I am making a holiday greeting card for a customer and he wants it in German.

I know just where to go to find German speakers, so here is my query:

How do you spell "Merry Christmas" in German? Umlaut and all.

Frohe Weihnachten!

Frohe Weihnachten!
That is exactly what I got when I used Google to translate. But my customer says that there is an Umlaut in there somewhere.

McMaster_de, Tara, Beezer - where are you guys?

Thank you Captain Hornblower. I would like to put in the required paperwork to raise your rank to Colonel or Admiral.

One more - how do you write "Good Morning!" in German? Is it "Guten Morgen!" like Google says it is, or is there an Umlaut in there somewhere?

...to raise your rank to Colonel...
For a moment I thought, you don't know who Captain Hornblower is... :whoa: ...but I can't believe it  ;)

For a moment I thought, you don't know who Captain Hornblower is... ...but I can't believe it Well, until right now I thought Captain Hornblower was this funny looking guy with a skinny neck and no mouth.

But Google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Captain+Hornblower&btnG=Google+Search) tells me that Captain Hornblower is a movie released in 1951.

And Captain Hornblower is wedding yacht based in San Francisco.
