There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

So, how many of them understands binary and how many of them not?

10=2 in binary

00=0
01=1
10=2
11=3
etc.

*edit: corrected "01=2 in binary" to "10=2 in binary"*

What the f... are you talking about? I know binary too, I still don't undertand how someone can have 11000100 troops. Does that mean there are still HUGE loop holes in the game?

Mickey could fix this inside a single line of code.

Rasqual's 4 billions troops would all say "Yes. There are still holes int he game."

But then again, that's the point of beta. Find the holes and plug them up before releasing it as afinished product.

Yeah, but if I bring them in serially it can be a little hole . . .

Rasqual, can you just tell me: is all this money honest? Or did you find a hole? Or did you *gasp* script this money? :confused:
I'm not accusing you, or trying to start something, but I'm really curious!

It was a very creative hole, which has now been fixed.

I used a commonly available widget to painlessly determine what the web form was sending to the server when I purchased troops. Using a small army, I then added a huge NEGATIVE number of troops to it. This ended up crediting me with an enormous number of geos, and leaving me with a negative number of troops in that army. I mean, they REALLY didn't make their reenlistment quotas for the month!

I then bought as many troops as I wanted for other armies. I'm pretty sure there was another perverse benefit -- the negative number of troops in the one army meant that not only was I not paying support on that army, to the contrary it was paying me geos just for existing in negative territory.

Thus, just changing the sign of a number that's sent to the server gave me geos with a waste product of a negatively billeted army that ALSO paid geos. Bizarre.

I obviously used scripts to generate all the bulk stuff I did -- the thousand armies each having about 1o million troops, the 123,456 geos gifted to the top 200 players, and so forth. But that's not (IMO) cheating. Getting the geos sure was though!

Gosh, that's funny. Just...too easy. Dang.
