its late and it me laugh....take hawaii.....middle of nowhere....no bases around....and "plant" little hotels out there........lol....plant hotels...i dont know why that seems funny to me

Seriously, other income generating resources should be implimented...stocks/bonds/fishing/gold mines etc.

Industry, Mickey! Please, for the love of world domination, please, get around to implementing industry! From there, you can move on to stocks and bonds and a real (virtual) economy.
