I watched them build this thing at the age of 5 in 1971. Its still there in 2005
and the locals have a nickname in honor of rex Humbard - Rex's Rod! You can see it from the Ohio turnpike bridges over the cuyahoga River about 8 miles away, and its used as an air navigational guide... Imagine your desk top with a baseball bat sticking out of it...
