What program do you guys use to make the 3D buildings?
Thanks,
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum im new here
Hi Boomer!
Firstly welcome to GEH :D
You can use the polygon tool in Google Earth Plus (or Pro) to create 3D structures, you can also make them in many 3rd party modeling & cad programs and import them (if they can be converted to kmz)
Have a look around the official forums, in the models & annotations section, particularly this thread (http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/34974/an/0/page/0/gonew/1#UNREAD) for further explanations :)
Hope this helps!

The current file format for 3D structures in GE is essentially 2.5 D (polygonal extrusions). Is anyone aware of plans for GE to move to a full 3D format such as X3D or VRML?
