Impressing! Looks like it was a lot of work... did you create the borders and polygons manually, tracing an overlay? Or did you convert some existing data? I was drawing all the prefecture borders some time ago, using map overlays... it was a lot of work and not very exact. I'm planning to do the same for the Tokyo wards, but the borders are really complicated once you zoom in a bit, so I didn't get far yet...

Forgot to say, the legend is a really nice touch, too, haven't seen this kind of overlay before!

I made this data in R language.
ShapeFile(Free data) is operated in R language.
An easy program has been opened to the public to Rjpwiki.

Thanks for the link! R... kinda exotic language, I didn't even know it existed ;) I found the data file, and I also found a java library to read ESRI shape data (OpenMap (http://openmap.bbn.com/))... so I'll try to write my own converter to kml one of these days :yep:
