Right now, diamond mines last shorter but makes Geos quicker.
Cotton fields and oil wells last VERY long thus punishing the active players.
I really think all of them shall work as mines. Last shorter and give Geos much much quicker.
If the limit was reduced to 23 hours, it would be extra great! :)
But I have to say that using our own area really rocks! :) GE never crashes. THANK YOU MICKEY!...
Guys! Please support this thread and we shall earn Geos quicker!
Thank you all...

I totally agree. These changes punish patient players  . Make all resources make more but last for less time (as they did before!)
I do like having my own area for mines / wells / fields etc.....

Not going to happen :) the 36 hour break keeps you all on your toes ;)

I did not understand that expression but why 36? 24 is much better. I for instance, miss a lot of days because of that!
And, not 36 but 35 => not 24 but 23... This would really help...

I disagree. I think this rewards the active players, as the only way to make good money with them is to build a new one every 36 hours and have them pile up.
GE never crashes.
It was getting to the point that I couldn't mine for diamonds, so I knew it was time for a change... :)

In fact, oil wells and cotton fields are punishing all of us!
Most of the guys think the same way. It was an alternative to jewel hunting but know... Wait and wait and wait... The pace really slowed down... :slant:
Hey! Support this thread you complainers!!
And do not miss that point please. If you have to keep it with 36 hours, at least change it to 35 hours.
23 would be the best. We have the time, why should we wait!?? :(

36 means you have to get on one morning, and then the following evening, it means it doesnt fit into your routine.. 24/23 is too easy.. 35 - i dont see what difference it makes.

I think something needs to change, because now I've dropped about 400 geos a day in income, now that my big wells ran out and I'm only getting 50 barrels a day to replace them. Sure I can get back to 600 a day, but it'll take forever! Lower the time limit!

So, you want to make it hard for people!?
If I opened a poll, would you consider its results as a motive to change the current system?
I cant change anything :p you'll have to convince Mickey and he's a tougher nut to crack than me

The diamond mines were crashing me. It's not a top of the line machine, but it's a 2.4 Ghz P4 with about 1.25 gigs of RAM. Probably the cruddy video card on here is what did it (128 MB shared - laptop). :)

if it caused a lockdown in GE, imagine how would it be if you played Doom3, or Need for Speed Underground 2.
mine is AMD 2,6GHz, 768Mb RAM, and a GeForce FX5200 video card (128Mb exclusive), and all drivers are recent. also fine tuning of most windows default settings for video.
also, take a look on the drivers of that video card. that may be it.

Actually, Doom 3 and AOE 3 both run quite well (haven't played NFS). Who knows...
