Hy everybody,
I just want to mention something about the so called Rhein-Main-Airport in Frankfurt, Germany. The Frankfurt airport is one of the biggest in Europe, but itīs not the biggest. London Heathrow and Amsterdam Schiphol are quite bigger. But in the cargo section Frankfurt is the leading one in Europe. I live in Frankfurt and Iīm very interested in having the latest infomation about the airports in Europe and thatīs the latest information. In 2004 the number of passengers exeeded the 50 million limit. So itīs growing but the others mentioned are bigger anyhow.

Of course Frankfurt is the biggest.
And London, Paris and others are the biggest, too ;-)

It just depends on what You define to be "big".
The simple coverage of area (there Frankfurts airport is surprisingly small), the number of passengers, the number of starts/landings, the amount of freight ...

Every one of the european airports mentioned can claim at least one category where it exceeds all others ...
