RE: 9-11 debris clean-up

First, sorry for the multiple file uploads!

The reason is that I can't seem to get this to work even though I've gotten others working with no problem.

I had a jpeg image to start with but it was huge. I got an unsupported image file error.
I resized it and still the image couldn't load.
I converted it to png and now when I download it, no file shows up in GE.

I can view all of them from my comp. but not when I DL from here.

any advice? This is such a cool image!

All I can suggest is try shrinking it down to below 1MB, sometimes GE doesnt like big files.. I cant even explain why, cos sometimes they work and sometimes not!

Let me know when you've uploaded it again, I'll check it out :)

Good luck!

Im not too into image editing.

The pic is Giant!
9372 pixels square at 1016 pixels/inch
9.25 inches
13.6 mb
I went to 2000 pixels like it says in the help file but still too big
In photo shop I tried to shrink it but you lose all the details.
should I cut it up and post them as a group?
shouldI just send the pic to someone else?
I'd like to do it myself but this is such a great image that I think it should get out there!

Thanks for the patients!

Maybe you should split it up into 4!, that might be the perfect idea.. :) you can probably throw the 4 overlays in a folder and save it as one .kmz, but I'm not 100% sure that'll work.. you may have to upload them individually if the files are too big..

Google seems to have problems with huge overlays, which is a real pity :slant:

Anyway, good luck with the splitting! look forward to approving those files soon! :D
