With an impending reset incoming, here's your chance to very briefly give Mickey a Wishlist for the Beta III.
I'll kickoff with
- Varible city size based on stability of ownership or amount of attacks.
- "Ready Reserve" city defence bonus (purchaseable).
- Army training and experience gaining.
- More resources and bonus cities.
- Better resource output (geos).
- Intergration of resource dependant activities within GEWar (cotton and geos to buy troops, oil and geos to move armies across map).
- Blitzkriegmj elevated to "God-like" status to be revered by all.

Also.....
Being able to create armies from cities after a peroid of time...
Being able to Merge two armies together....
Being able to split an army in half to create 2 armies.....
And also giving Radeon a head start after the Reset. ;)
Just a few things that some people have brought up before...

-Increasing city values with taxes
-No nuke shields
-Massive destruction to nuked cities (yeah, that's my pet peeve right now ;) )

Also the 10 min. deposit and withdrawal is a big pain... u can still have it but make if for like 30 sec...If i have to get off soon, because my prents say so, i want to be able to get my banking done quick.
Real-world natural disasters affect game-play.. :)

- Windows style horizontal Sliding bar to convert resources instead of manual typing.
- Sliding bar to purchase troops instead of picking a value, then another, then another.
- When you click on a player name it brings up a last 10 attacks activity page like the "your main GEWAR page".
- Latest activity to include attacks outside a city.

An end to cheating...
(or someone pass me the Coles notes to how to cheat...)
I like to be able to build little forts outside your city so that must be attacked first .... kind of like a layered defence.
Also... enable it to make it easier for new players to get their first city - but offering smaller cities that only they can own.
AND MAKE IT EASIER TO MOVE YOUR HOME BASE!!! At a penalty of course... something like .. 100 geos to OUR GOD AND SAVIOR MICKEY to dispense to newbies - if you want to move your home base.... and you can only move it once..
and just to make life more complicated.... as in real life... the more men you have in a city... the greater the cost it will be to maintain them as the resources get drained.
so a tax .... some sort of ratio... for every 1000 men in a city ... the geo value received from that city goes down

Cities should defenitely earn more from taxes. At the moment with the high cost of keeping troops it is not worth owning any cities (apart from three of four of the largest)

This is an online game right? Well just think of how much a delay you going to get by the way you people are trying to make it into "warcraft III" or "Battlefield"?
All the suggestions are awesome i also would like them to be put into place but how will it effect your connection? Loading? Server strain? ect...

To help this, maybe there can only ba a maximum defense in a city. ie. a 1,000,000 population city can be defended with a maximum of 5000 troops or maybe the city income's worth of troops. It needs to be intergrated with the split/merge army function such that if you overtake a city and have leftovers of more than the city can sustain, then the leftovers are formed into a new army that sits outside the city waiting for orders.

And of course statistics! There are many suggestions on this topic, but here's one new. Stats on alliances per alliance attacks - so that we can see after whom the biggest alliances are after. And more interesting who they are not after!

I would think by playing the game one should be able to figure this out. But none the less this idea is a great one. I second the vote.

How about a sound alert when an army is on route to a city.
Maybe it can have a 10 or 15 minute interval with the pitch increasing the closer the army gets.
I could sleep easier that way.

Blitz I havent looked but Mickey should post his plans for the coming Beta !!I.
he did this for the reset to beta II. Players could comment and make suggestions off of that thread. It would streamline very well.

Different types of armies - infantry, mechanised etc.
The ability to create navy vessels - transports, destroyers, cruisers, aircraft carriers etc. With the ability to attack (or defend) coastal cities.
And one I'd really be in favour of, and it has already been mentioned - email notification if an army is on it's way to one of your cities.

are you serious? that's a LOT of stuff, i think the server would have a total crashdown and that brings many, many holes with it. :slant: :dead:

so without feed-back we're shooting in the dark, and just making a really long christmass list that would rival any childs who hasnt a clue about how money works (to explain the metaphore, money here is Mickey's thoughtprocess :))

i would like to see the cost of the nuke shield go up to maybe 1000 geos since it cost 10,000 geos to get one..also if you buy a shield ,when you leave or lose the city, the shield is lost, so the next person must buy a new one....

This city is currently contaminated by nuclear radation and cannot be occupied for the next 25 hours, 47 minutes and 59 seconds.
One week or even one month would be better.
The fall-out could move (randomly) around the globe, making friends everywhere.
Comparing a nuked city to a cottage should be more appropriate.
If variable city sizes are introduced in the game, the loss in a nuked city should be tremendous.
The price for a nuke should rise by 10.

AND, there should be a massive drop in population after a nuking, fixable only by large expenditures of geos. I think I've said this before...

Yes, that's been brought up.
And if one owns all the cities in a country then they get extra tax for owning that country basicly.
I know, I know. You've got great ideas, but they've been thought of before, just not made it into the game yet. Keep at it though, and they'll have a better chance. ;)

speaking of nukes and nuke shields...I think that if a city has a nuke shield you should have the option to nuke it anyways.....it hits the shield and then the shield is gone....if you and/or your alliance are willing to spend 20k to destroy a city..you should have that option....maybe even 2 nukes then shield goes away..
regardless...if you buy a nuke shield and you leave city (beaten or abandon) the nuke shield should go away then.
