Russia Crater - What they are doing there ?

What a hell is this ?

I´ve searched all Bibliothecks about Meteor Craters.
But this very big hole in our earth (about 8 km) is not registrated
in all metor tables i´ve found.

Does anyone know what this is ?

And what do the russians there ?
Did they get the material out of the crater ?
