To prepare! I'm talking about your armies.
It would be cool if i could select my army not only to attack, but also a coordinated attack. This would take maby an hour (maby 2) to "load", or get your troops in position. Attacking after this would give you a huge advantage.
But attacking that army while positioning would give that army a huge advantage.
This would work even more nicely with a defensive bonus, some real mind crackers then! is he positioning? i should attack! but maby he forsaw this, and he's in defensive positons, i should wait! but maby he calculated this in and is just positioning his forces for an attack.. maby i should attack!
see? it will raise the adictive level by a nodge again!
i'm brilliant! brilliant i say!

you indeed appear to be the only one responding to my great idea's, but that just means you've got good gaming insight!

Kinda like the Age of Empires troop formation thing?
I replied, do I have good gaming insight? Whatever that is!
I actually really love this idea, I hope Mickey implements it soon!

right and mickey remember, a defense bonus would make this even more fun :D
or maby even a defensive position, maby make the army unable to move for hours and give a offensive penalty.
tactics for the win!

Well I don't know if it brilliant, but it is a good suggestion.
What would it take to create something like that?

he thanks guys for bumping my thread, see if you can find the ones about bigger armies bonusses, winning armies bonusses and about raising the price of cotton. Thanks, ;)
Well firstly mickey would have to look here,
HERE WE ARE! MICKEY! HELP!
o wait, he watches from above
!PLEH !YEKCIM !ERA EW EREH
and then i wouldnt say its that hard, ofcourse i dont know anything about this so dont take my word for it. At the city you'd "start" the "surrounding" of the city or whatever. This could just be going to a fictional city 2 hours away. and then your army has a bonus, which you can just create by adding troops and diducting them (less then you added..) after.
The hard part is the defensive bonus needed to make this work.

Maybe the defencive position could cost troops, so an army can't be put in this position for days (in cities) because all troops would die (of stress? ;-) )

hmm outside a city you mean? wow that would be pretty smart right there, another reason to have cities, and a way to stop people from just camping outside cities waiting for the one inside to attack (and lose their bonus).
but that's all useless talk unless mickey wants to implement him, and i havn't seen him here for weeks. not even sure if he reads it, let alone what he thinks of it.
