This is a thoguht for cities, but also a suggestion... If it should be moved, please do it....


While Citites are a cool idea, here is a new thought...

what about using major battles in wolrd history as a city...

ie...

Normandy - Not a city, but it would be cool to have a "city" that is normandy. france..

Pleanty of others (and by all means, I encourage those who aren't from the US to contribute to this list)

as a value for the city, use the number of men lost x some value that make it a "city"

Hahaha!! Great idea! I'dl ove to see some of the worlds greatest battles re-enacted.. maybe we dont implement them as cities, but as "battlezones" instead.. designated fight-pits.. this way you could send multiple armies to a "battlezone" and strategicly place them.. so on so forth..

but what would be the point of winning there? At normandy, would you get france? that might be a little harsh. Maby make it so that in normandy you attack every french city at once. This needs thought and it aint coming from me (well, thoughts come, but they're usually short fragments of WWII falshbacks, screamings, alien abductions and so on).

Love the Idea of battle zones.... trophys (in the form of Geos) for the victors, since it would require massive troops to play....

Would love to see Midway, Ho-Chi-Min trail, etc...

let's keep Mid-east out of it though... need the real world guys to sort that out first...

Just a thought, but without trying to userp (sic I think) Mickey and his crew, I would be willing to host (on behalf of the admins) short GEWar game dedicated to 2-6 day battles of historical significace...new battles start once week.. haven't figured out all the details, but that is just a great idea, didn't want it to die..

(don't feel comfortable PM'ing him until I build up a bit of cred)
