Hi,

Correct me if I am mistaken but the army are always the same no ?
Can we imagine a possible evolution of the troops, more they fight, better they will become.
Exemple :
1 player have 1 armies.
With one, he goes to fight for a city, then the survivals will have a bonus point, so the army will become powerfull. If he adds more troops, then after a time the new troops will learn from the veterans and starting to be stronger, but still less than the veterans. It will be quickier for them to get the same level as the veterans on the next fight.
If an army is not used after a fight, it will become weaker until the first level.
So fighting against on other weak army will give more chance to win the battle.

I see two advantages :
- Players who play often will have more chance to get a better army (don't let the lazy one win by only by chance)
- It will add one strategic element

Proposition for the Army evolution

12 levels from standard privates to elite troops,
On each fights (or more fights dependa=ing one what users wants), depending on who is the winner, you can increase your level by two or four,
Each new troops in the army will earn from the veterans 1 level every X days until they have 1 level less than than the veterans,
Each veterans will be able to teach to X new soldier,
If an army is not fighting, its troops level will decrease of X points every X days,
The level of the troops will add a bonus on each battle,
A soldier with a good level will be harder to kill and will be a better killer,
.... and others ideas....

The global level of the army can be calculate with the average of the level of all the troops

1 army with, at the begining of the fight :
1000 levels 12
1000 levels 10
1000 levels 1
will have a global level of 4.66 so it will add a bonus on each fight.

To know who is killed can be computed with a percentage of chance to be killed on the field, a level 12 will have less chance to be killed.

So for on the second round, let guess that the army lost all it's level 1 soldiers, and 50 % of it's level 10 soldiers, the average level of the army will become 11.33, and etc, etc, etc.....

I like the way this is structured. Another good example of how it could work Ultimate (same as timme).

You'd get an average score for your troops, the rookies quickly incease in experience just for being around the veterans. The veterans also start to lose experience if the sit idley in a city as defenders (maybe could pay experiance upkeep as training). You may need a lot of coding though to make it work tough, I think.

If you click on an army, you'll see the amounts, date added and experience of all troops added, then an average for the army (could be a long list...). Or it just shows how many at each level and just merges them when they improve.

When you have a battle, and you have 1000 level 12 troops, 1000 level 10 troops and 1000 levels 1 troops. The army experience factor is 4.66 like you said. Say the army you fight knocks off 1000 troops. After the fight it can calculate which troops fell by saying the higher the level, the less percentage
of these troops died. For rough example 100 level 12 troop, 150 level 10 troops and 750 level 1 troops. Then you have 2000 troop army (-1000) made up of 900 level 12, 850 level 10 and 250 level 1. Than the experiance gained needs to be worked out...
