help with 3d images

im a newb at this cool Google Earth thign and i noticed that you can dl 3d images and put them on your Earth. the only problem is that when you close and reopen ge the 3d images are gone. is there any way to save these images like in the program folder. thanx

Firstly, Welcome to GEH!

Sure :) take the .kmz you downloaded (click save-as instead of open) and put it somewhere safe, for example I have a folder in C:\Program Files\Google Earth\KMZs in which I keep mine, you then double-click the file once its there and put it in "My Places" in google earth and it wont go away till you delete it :)
