I just discovered Google Earth and would like to get involved in sharing SAT images. How would I create an image that can be used with G/Earth?
Is there a tutorial somewhere?
Thanks!
J
Firstly, Welcome to GEH! we hope you enjoy it here! :D
To add your own images to google earth simply go to the "add" menu, and select "overlay" put the image URL in and use the corners and the rotating diamond (left of the centre of the image) to allign it correctly :)
If you need any help gimmie a shout, I'll go look for an old tutorial I did about it

I've just submitted some better overlays for the Burning Man (with populated area) and the Taj Mahal.
They seem to be taken at a higher resolution than what GE offered.
Thanks again,
J
