I read on Slashdot that Microsoft has released Virtual Earth.
( http://virtualearth.msn.com ) The post stated that VE does not show the Apple HQ.
Has anyone found Google Earth not showing certain locations? – Other than secure areas.
I think it is kind of cute that Google blocks the image of the White House, but you can still make out the foundation.

p.s. no attacks on Mircrosoft, O.K.? Start your own rant if you must.

And what can you say about the World Trade Center?
How it is now:

How it was (or how Microsoft wants we believe it is):

I had seen a discussion on GE about Microsoft hidding the Apple Headquarters, but it was just an older image and the buildings had not been built yet. Plus at the time of the MS VE picture Apples headquarters were accross the street to the west of the site in question and they were visable.
