Looks like a secondary clarifier for a municipal wastewater treatment plant

If you zoom out there are circular farmlands all over that portion of Idaho. It looks really interesting, like pointillism or something!

In this shot though, it's fairly easy to see the irrigation equipment that makes the circles.

This is an alfalfa field (as a rotation crop) irrigated with a pivot sprinkler system.
They usually cut the alfalfa concentrically so they don't have to bump the equipment over the ruts made by the pivot wheels.

First they will cut along the pivot, then along each of the pivot tracks, then the rest of the field.

Most of the pivots in the area cover 1/4 of a square mile.
